Daniel Gibson has been practicing law with the Firm since 2004. Born in raised in Tulia, Texas, Daniel attended Wayland Baptist University where he was a member of the Wayland Baseball Team, served as Student Body President, and graduated with honors in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and minor in English.
Daniel’s rural background growing up in Tulia, Texas, has served him well in the Firm’s work with many of the state’s Telephone and Electric Cooperatives. Since graduating with honors from Texas Tech University School of Law, passing the bar and joining the Firm in 2004, Daniel has worked in a number of areas in the firm including corporate litigation, general corporate governance, matters before administrative and regulatory agencies, real estate, employment and contract matters.
Over the past two decades, Daniel has worked at the local, state, and national level to build trust and establish relationships and knowledge in the industries he represents to provide effective representation to his clients on legal, regulatory and legislative fronts. Having served as chairman of the legal committee for a national trade association, general counsel for a statewide association, being named a Texas Bar Fellow, a committee member for the Cattle Baron’s Ball, and having participated in many successful efforts to effectuate change at the Texas legislature, Daniel hopes to continue to expand opportunities to provide effective advice and counsel to the firm’s clients in the future in all of their areas of need.
In addition to his work at the firm, Daniel takes pride in his wife Erin who is a professor at Texas Tech University School of Nursing, and his two children, Bryson and Lainey. The Gibson’s are members at First Baptist Church and enjoy spending time participating in all of their kid’s activities and various community events.
